I've been scouring the net, trying to find everything I can that will give any clue as to WHICH
drug(s) the gunman was using at the time of the killings.
Do any of you doubt that just as with all the other tragic campus shootings/mass murders we have witnessed - this young, troubled man had most likely sought "help" - and the help given him was a prescription for an antidepressant or other psychotropic toxic drug(s) - that resulted in him experiencing adverse reactions - reactions like anger, hostility, mania, psychosis... ???
Interesting how the various media outlets tend to handle this "delicate" subject - for many of them, its simply taboo (too much invested in them by big pharma... )
ABC is the worst offender - and MSN gets a big thumbs down for completely side-stepping the question.
Personally, I think Cho Seung-Hui's own roommate is probably the most credible witness to this point - he speaks of how he observed Cho going about his daily routine - applying lotion, inserting his contact lenses and taking his "medication" on the morning of the killings.
And, pay close attention to the ABC report - where "senior federal officials tell ABC News that they can find no record of such medication in the government's files...." and that " the sources say theirs is a reasonably complete search."
hmmm..... just how much does our government officials know about each one of us? If they even know what medications we take, do they also know which salad dressing we prefer?

A 'Troubled' Young Man
Some news accounts have suggested that Cho had a history of antidepressant use, but senior federal officials tell ABC News that they can find no record of such medication in the government's files. This does not completely rule out prescription drug use, including samples from a physician, drugs obtained through illegal Internet sources, or a gap in the federal database, but the sources say theirs is a reasonably complete search.

Authorities found two three-page notes in his dorm room after the shootings. They weren't suicide notes and provided no clue about why he did what he did. Instead, they were expletive-filled rants against the rich and privileged, even naming people who he thought had kept him down, federal and state law enforcement sources said. Two government officials said he had been treated for mental health problems.

The Virginia Tech shooter has been identified. Cho Seung-Hui has been called a 'jealous boyfriend' by reporters and was reportedly on anti-depressant medication. He was a loner, and after the murders he committed suicide. A report from the Chicago Tribune claims he left a suicide note. According to reports, the killings started with his former girlfriend, and he gunned her down in a dormitory in a jealous rage.

Virginia Tech shooter/student Cho Seung-Hui was labeled a 'jealous boyfriend' by reporters and was also allegedly under the influence of anti-depressant medication. Seung-Hui was reportedly a loner, and after he finished his evil deed, he committed suicide.

News reports said that he may have been taking medication for depression and that he was becoming increasingly violent and erratic.
"When we read Cho's plays, it was like something out of a nightmare. The plays had really twisted, macabre violence that used weapons I wouldn't have even thought of," former classmate Ian MacFarlane, now an AOL employee, wrote in a blog posted on an AOL Web site. He said he and other students "were talking to each other with serious worry about whether he could be a school shooter."

It was 5:30 Monday morning and Karan Grewal was finishing a break after a long night of cramming for his classes at Virginia Tech. As he left the bathroom at Harper Hall, his dormitory mate, Cho Sueng-Hui, wearing boxer shorts and a T-shirt, entered for his morning ritual of applying lotion, inserting his contact lenses and taking his medication.
“He was, like, normal,” Grewal, a 21-year-old accounting major, said today, describing the ordinary start to what turned out to be an extraordinary day…

Cho had shown recent signs of violent, aberrant behaviour, including setting a fire in a dorm room and allegedly stalking some women, the Chicago Tribune said, citing an unnamed investigative source.
Investigators believe Cho at some point had been taking medication for depression, the daily said.
