That's enough ... Last night surfing through the channels of the election coverage, it seemed a devastating night for Judy Woodruff at CNN. I thought she was going to break down.

There she was holding the cards on Ohio and holding them while Wolf is standing at the Monitor wall looking at Judy's huge blue mug seemingly begging her to call it.

Dan was wonderful with his little map of the Red, White and Blue States like the little puzzle at the Cracker Barrel ... trying desperately to jump over the loss of Ohio ... "he could win if ... if Bush loses Nevada and ... "

The debate last night Kerry looked great right down to his hands. He had the time to get a manicure!

The president however looked tired and some said he looked like he didn't want to be there.

That's because he spent his day in the orange groves damaged by the hurricanes. I saw him on the news reports walking through the rows and rows of trees, stepping on citrus that fell to the ground in the winds of Jeanne.

Was the president tired you bet, but this man has done his job in crisis after crisis. No president has had to deal with as many traumatic events as this one.

The American people are gracious and know that he is putting his heart and soul into serving this great nation.

Tell me you don't think that it is actually a good thing if Iraq has "become a new breeding ground," a magnet for al Qaida.

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- A new survey by the Institute for Jewish and Community Research concludes that religious identity in the United States has declined over the past decade.

For this we have liberals, progressives, libertarians and others to thank for the decline in the rise in a faithless America

Here's why:
Abortion ... 4,000,000 a year.

Freedom of choice ... a bogus right to murder the yet to be born human being ... the break down of the family.

Sexual revolution ... In the movies, TV, and print media. Our eyes are on it everywhere.

Materialism and greed ... Having this much and wanting much more.

Homosexuality ... and Paul's biblical account of it ... today is laughable.

Divorce ... It so easy these days. Family heartbreaker.

Irreverent ... particularly in the things of faith and God ... this one is a huge factor.

These are just a few issues to chew on that is destroying this country. Continuing down this road makes for an ever widening division and factions willing to fight to the death of each others vision of the culture.

We are holding on to the remnant of faith and morality to the last thread.

And as the Bob Dylan song goes "When you gonna wake up, when you gonna wake up
When you gonna wake up strengthen the things that remain."

I believe America will wake up ... However, lots of work to do.

I do appreciate talk radio and the impact it has had on the issues of our day.

However, I must say I do believe Sean Hannity and others are wrong on supporting the Libertarian view on many issues.

Absolute free will is dangerous.

The notion and hypothetical on supporting Opie and Anthony because silencing their voice could be done to Sean Hannity as well ... This is a pathetic weak argument.

This kind of reasoning is hardly the way of standing firm in character and virtue in America.

We need to strengthen the things that remain ... Things that are good and decent in the country.

Yesterday John Kerry came to New York University and did something amazing. He uttered a series of clear, declarative sentences on the subject of Iraq. Many of these sentences directly contradict his past statements on Iraq, but at least you could figure out what he was trying to say.

Third, Kerry argued that in times like this, brave leaders should tell the truth to the American people. Kerry reminded his audience that during Vietnam, he returned home "to offer my own personal voice of dissent," and he's decided to do the same thing now. The parallel is clear: Iraq is the new Vietnam.

He's decided to do the same thing now ... Exactly! Giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

Putting troops in harms way.

Giving this enemy one more day to do their barbaric acts before a silent (U.N.) world.

I cannot understand what the Kerry campaign consultants are thinking when they keep running with the Bush National Guard story.

The media keeps those handsome, Tom Cruise, Top Gun looking photos of the young smiling Bush running over and over those talking heads.

As long as they keep telling us how the National Guard was a shelter for the privileged, they alienate those who are presently serving, and doing so honorably.

And advice from the Great One, William Jefferson Clinton to stop talking about V't Nam.

Bush is confident about this issue as he spoke to the National Guard Association of the United States in Las Vegas.

He said, "Nineteen individuals have served both in the National Guard and as president of the United States ... and I'm proud to be one of them." That received thunderous applause.

As a media consultant during the '80 Reagan Bush campaign I look at this and wonder ... the Kerry/Edwards blunders thunder relentlessly in the news.

What on Earth are they thinking?!

In the final days of the 20th century, a North Wales psychiatrist named David Healy conducted a curious study, and with more than a curious result. Twenty volunteers with no history of psychiatric problems were recruited, half of whom were given the drug Zoloft, an antidepressant from the Prozac family of drugs known as the SSRIs, or "selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors." The other half were given an antidepressant that, unlike Zoloft and Prozac, does not selectively target the brain chemical serotonin. Each group took their respective drug for two weeks and then, shortly thereafter, switched to the other.

Healy had designed his "healthy volunteer study" to compare the psychological experience of being on a serotonin antidepressant versus a non-serotonin antidepressant, but before he knew it, two of his volunteers became dangerously agitated and suicidal. Both were taking the SSRI drug. The adverse reactions couldn't easily be blamed on psychological instability -- these were healthy volunteers. And the rate of 10 percent made it clear that such results were not so rare as to be incidental.

Sometime ago I thought that Greta Van Susteran on Fox News Channel, was beginning to get it with a report by Douglas Kennedy. They had done a story on how a major pharmaceutical had hidden the numbers of negative reports on suicide.

I am disappointed in that there was no follow up at all on this now vital and urgent news.

The public is not being served when this news has been around for a long time and only today saw the story on first CBN News and then MSNBC and CNN because the FDA is taking up this serious issue.

Let me say this, our world has indeed become so immoral and fallen so far from righteousness, that's right, righteousness, that stories like this one is not so shocking to me anymore.

We can watch it all unfold right before our eyes, on Television, HBO, Bravo, Oxygen, Showtime, Hollywood, E, Comedy Central, Bill Maher, Howard Stern, and "new media" ... Whatever that means.

We have even turned vicious towards anyone who mentions the name of God ... President George W. Bush, has been ridiculed and totally maligned because he speaks openly and freely about his faith.

Now if they could do that to him, what's left?

All of this just adds up and takes its toll.

It is difficult to stand firm against all of the above ... but we must.

And if this story in the LA Times is true, the church has suffered another casualty to the culture war ... And waking up tomorrow will be a very sad day.

The 2004 election began with lies and the Dems know it.

Back on September 11th we were all Americans ... Republicans and Democrats all agreed that we needed to stand together to defeat a faceless coward of an enemy.

The president waited, went to the U.N., and looked at all of the options before us, and after all of the intelligence that all perused ... War was inevitable.

John Kerry and Edwards voted to give the president the power to go after the Islamic fascists cowards.

But they could not stand to allow the unity of purpose through to the election in 2004.

The 2002 election was the defining issue that changed the patriotic endeavor for the Democrats.

Enter stage "left" Senator Edward "Teddy" Kennedy.

Remember now George W. Bush was trying to bring his "compassionate" conservative humanity on the country. He named a federal building after Teddy's brother Robert "Bobby" Kennedy and joined Teddy in the public school's No Child Left Behind legislation.

After all that Teddy bear love feast you would think that the president would be at 70% approval ... As the Democrats realized what the whole scenario presented before them and their future liberal fortunes and liberal honor ... Not going to stand.

And the onslaught came down and we began to see what Americans have never seen ... Calling a sitting president a liar ... And while at war.

Kennedy, Gore, Dean, Edwards, Kerry, Moveon.org and Moore rallied the battle cry.

It was working for a while but Americans are decent, honorable people ... Thank God!

On HBO last night, Bill Maher and his adoring, loving, audience, which Howard Dean said he would love to take to Michigan and to Ohio, and to Arizonaaaaa Yeaaahhhh!

For a long time Bill Maher has been joking and making fun of the president of the United States and his faith in Jesus Christ.

Mocking God particularly the One Chistians hold dear has been the new lines for laughter for writers on his show.

Plus the seven words you can't say on TV.

Oh, I'm sorry ... Dahhh, HBO it's not TV ... Uughhh.

The funnies were flying last night and guest Jason Alexander was laughing so hard he almost fell off his chair ... And Arianna Huffington followed suit.

And, as I watched ... I only get HBO when I travel, and at the Sleep Inn the only news channel you get is CNN ... So, I watched that show and became troubled.

They spoke as if Christians were the enemy in this country. Religious bigots.

I am weary of the fun that they were having tonight at the expense of my God.

And though they were doing that on the 7th day of September, 2004, the day of our Lord ...
I can tell you that God will not be mocked ... Within me that is what I heard throughout this awful show.

Many do not realize where the schools truly went south ... This comes innocently and with a sense of ignorance on the history of what went wrong in the schools to begin with.

I am getting sick and tired of those advocating the screening of children for mental illness in the schools.

The wizards can find a disease under every shoe ... And they will.

The liberals have had the advantage beating up on George W Bush for months. The onslaught is relentless and constant and the president hung in there never getting in the gutter and slime of it all.

They are the ones that came out of the blocks on the 527 strategy and for a time they were winning.

You never heard Bush whine or gather the lawyers for battle but what is Kerry doing ... Crying and whining and gathering the lawyers just like they did in Florida.

This time the democrats are not waiting for the election.

Well, there they go again.

While I'm at it let me speak out about this "jerk" talk show host ... Chris Matthews and the mauling of Michelle Malkin.

This guy does both sides so much his show should be called Both Sides of the Hardball.

He treated Michelle Malkin on Hardball with disrespect ... Nahhh ... like dirt.

Michelle said this in her op-ed, AMBUSH JOURNALISM...OR MY EVENING WITH CAVEMAN CHRIS MATTHEWS:
"I wonder how Matthews' wife, the respected TV journalist Kathleen Matthews, who hosts a show about working women, would react if informed about her husband's treatment of a fellow female journalist. "
Get this outrageous bit of journalism Malkin continues ... "Well, guess what? This foaming jerk Matthews, who called me irresponsible and kicked me off the show admitted that a) he himself had not read the damned book, Unfit for Command, b) he was not interested in asking Kerry about the specific doubts raised by vets about his wounds, and c) he had not and would not question Kerry about these specific allegations."

On this, Matthews' "Foaming jerk", is obviously on one side ... Tomorrow ... who knows ... Got to get those ratings up.

What a failure this guy is and he is a ratingless wonder of MSNBC news. Their best, the anchor.

Ann Coulter's new op-ed is a favorite topic of mine.

It does speak of Bill O'Reilly's embrace of both sides of the issues which burns me up.

We don't really grasp the O'Reilly big picture to straddle the fence. He literally is making nice here to insure "The Get" ... To be able to get Michael Moore and broaden his audience ... to get the numbers up.

As a matter of fact talk radio, conservative talk radio, is troubling to me. Haven't you heard them say on certain cultural-socioissues ... "Well, I guess on this one folks, I find myself falling on the side of the Libertarian in me."

The libertarian side of the issues is causing the fall of principled men and women.

I would say free? Very free? Somewhat free?

2 a : a person who upholds the principles of absolute and unrestricted liberty especially of thought and action

Oh, I see now, unrestricted liberty and absolute liberty.

That's why the gray areas of our culture in America on homosexuality, marijuana, pornography ... hey, if it's done in the quiet of your own home ... Well, I guess O'Reilly would say, "Factor" this as I don't mind what you do in the private places of your life ... and on absolute liberty ... I won't even tell you if the behavior is right or wrong.

To some degree, all of my talk radio friends have given into this kind of pseudo-conservativism while they have their other foot in pseudo-libertarianism ... That leaves them, at times, with both feet in the middle of their mouth ... Right!

If we could just stop for a moment, shut off all the noise, and take a deep breath, it will become clearer that George W. Bush is doing a great job.

The Democrats are losing it and the wheels are coming off this campaign train.

The left wing of the party decided that the only way to defeat an incumbent war time president was to go with a "decorated war time hero" they got their wish, John Kerry ... "Bring it on."

What don't you like about this president?

He brought the war to the enemy and the enemy went down in Afghanistan and Iraq ... And presses on to face the enemy.

Libya, did you ever in your wildest dream think that this enemy of the US would be falling to put an end to WMD.

This president cut your taxes ... The economy is recovering in his first term. Most presidents in his position would be asking for another term because they need just a little more time to put it over the top.

Unemployment, is down to Bill Clinton levels. Inflation is down, interest rates are down ... Hello!

These achievements are remarkable! To a president that began with the China stand off and won.
The Clinton recession, the corporate scandals, and the worst attack on this country ever in its history, by an enemy that has no state and no life or love for life.

So think clearly, shake the CNN, Larry King, Woodruff, noise out of your head ... Lower the volume on Chris Matthews and Olberman and watch your spirit soar to the right.
